What brings you joy?

Not happiness that goes with wind but true joy that lasts and goes deep. For me it is seeing someone who is broken finally come to know his/her worth in Jesus. No greater joy than this one for me. To help bring another soul into the kingdom is incredible.

Satisfaction in God. By the peace found through satisfaction, I find the joy. Not that I have reached some pinnacle of spiritual success where I am in a zen-like state of utter satisfaction with God. The satisfaction is an act of grace from Him. I seek to be satisfied in in Him at all times, but, very notably, I am never disappointed by His willingness to to bring me peace in the more trying times. Seeing Him work in the lives of others brings hope into mine as we are much better spectators of the world around us than observers of our own spiritual condition. We can see the work of Christ manifest in the lives of others which, in turn, lets us realize what grace he has already given us... joy through satisfaction in God... God is most glorified by us when we are most satisfied in Him.

There's my churchie answer. :) Dr. John Piper (who's theology I've probably butchered here) speaks at great length about this topic, and has been quite an inspiration for me to investigate the concept of joy. You can download his podcasts on itunes. He did one Sermon on this topic at Dallas Theological Seminary back in like '96. I think the podcast is still on the DTS podcast page. It's called "Desiring God," which, incidentally, is also the title of his regular podcast.
